Sherborn Lane 18 April

Mr. Townsend
I find Mr Finch has open'd a new passage from the
Red House Yard into the Hospital field
which Seems to be
a particular way of Proceeding and especially whilst he
was in treaty of accomodation. You are therefore
desired to block up this new passage in the most
effectual manner on the field side and you will
do well to wait on Mr Richard Howard< no role >
and desire
the favour of him to See the place before you go to Work
but let it be done out of hand, The Obstructions you
put up agt, some of the other doors towards Jerusalem
Square are taken away I Should be glad to know by
what means and think you had best to renew them
more effectualy
