Mr. Hancock
You may See when you please by your last receipt
that you have paid rent only to Michas 1732
from which time to Lady day now approaching
will be two years & a half: I understand by
your letter that you would return some
Money along with your answer but here
has not been any brought, pray let
it be done out of hand for the Governors are
out of patience

You write your direction so imperfect
that I know not whether you mean Linken
or Linkoner Livkon & having sent you
Several letters with that direction as well
as the Clerk could read it & not having had
any answer I could not tell whether
the direction or you was in fault & therefore
I troubled Alderman Smith as I must
doe again if you don't make a speedy return
to this
