aforesaid
severally Make Oath and say And first this Deponent
Henry Bainbridge< no role >
for himself Saith that about five or
six Months ago as this Deponent best recollects as to the
time the above named James Paul< no role >
called upon this
Deponent and informed him that he the said James Paul< no role >
had received a Letter or Notice from the Clerk of the
Peace for the said County of Middlesex
the Execution
would proceed for levying a Sum of Money on his Goods
and Chattels unless care was taken to stop Proceedings
in manner therein mentioned and requested this
Deponent to advise him what was necessary to be
done on the occasion And this Deponent further Saith
that he in consequence went with the said James Paul< no role >
to Mr. Humphrey Tomkison< no role >
since deceased the then
Vestry Clerk of the said Parish of Saint Paul Covent
Garden
to whom the said James Paul< no role >
shewed such Letter
or Notice and expressed his uneasiness at the contents thereof
and said he should certainly have attended at the
Sessions House when the Indictments against the said
