William Stephenson< no role > of Francis Street Tottenham Court Road in the
County of Middlesex Victualler and Mathew Bainbridge< no role > of Goswell Street
in the said County Taylor Swerally make Oath and say And first
this Deponent William Stephensons for himself saith that he did
together with the other Deponent become Bill for the above named
Defendant on a about the a Month of January last past upon a Certain
warrand Yond by Scoyed Lord Kenyon for the Appearence of the above
named Defendant to answer the Complaint of the above named Roseouter
And this Deponent Further saith that being Ignorant of the Practice of this
Honorable Court as also being informed by the said William Kelly< no role > the
Defendant that proper can had been taken for him this Deponent
and the other Deponent Mathew Bainbridge< no role > in this Prosecution as
to their Recognizance the said recognizance having been respected upon
to June Session last And this Deponent having one Knowledge
of the danger of this said recognizance untill his receiving
a Letter from the Clerk of the Peace for this County (which
Letter is hereunto annexed) Upon the receipt of which Letter
he did Apply to Mr. indly to have his said recognizance discharged
or respited accordingly to the Notice of said Letter when he this
Deponent was informed he must make Application to this
Court for the purpose of everysing the Estreat of his said recognizance
And Mathew Bainbridge< no role > the other Deponent for himself saith
that he did become Bail for the said William Kelly< no role > with the
other Deponent as above Stated And the said William Stephenson< no role >
and Mathew Bainbridge< no role > bail for the said William Kelby Caused the
the above named Dependant to be rendered in this Court in September
Sessions last in order that he might be delt with according to Law, as
also in discharge of their said recognizance Notice of saidofRender
was served upon he Father of Mr. John Carroll< no role > the Prosecutor and
also upon Mr Goodwin of Charles Street Westminster Clerk to Mr.
Jees the Solicitor for the Prosecutor imforming them the
Kitchin thereof And each of us their Deponent Lastly saith
