How do you know the persons died of the
Distemper ?

Don't knowthey died of Tever in the
GaolThe cells have been built between
30 & 40 Years.

Is it not possible to being the Distemper into
the Gaol ?

Possibly it may.

Whether the persons are better in Health
in cells than other parts ?

They are not as close they are fewer in
Number in Cellstherefore may not be so
bad-frequently carry the Disorder from the
other parts to the Cells-some part or other
is Cleaned everydayThe Scavenger when
there is a Load comes & its carried away
I agree with the Scavenger to come once a
WeekBy the Bogh houses running over it

Occasions a great Stench.

How often do the City Labourers come to Clean
the Bog houses ?

If they don't come the first day I send again
the next

who ther show Over flows don't weat damporess
in the Walls ?

I beleive it does.

Whether or no You are acquainted with the
Condition of the Walls in Newgate ?

I have taken Notice that they are very bad
