Who being on Oath Doth Complain to and inform Paul Vailant
Esquire
one of his Majesties Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex
acting within and for Holborn Division
in the said county
That James Roupell< no role >
of the
Precinct of the Savoy
within the liberty
of the Dutchy of Lancaster
in the Division and [..] County [..] afsd Victualler
doth keep and maintain an Irregular and Disorderly House Contrary
to the Tenor of the Recongnizance [..]
Entered into by him and his Sureties at the
time of his Lycense being granted to him to sell Beer Ale and other
Liquors (to wit) First by permitting and Suffering Playing at Cards
in his House, Secondly by Suffering persons to become Drunk in his
said House and remand there Tipling and Drinking Contrary to
Law, And Thirdly by Suffering other Disorders to be Committed
in his said House Contrary to the Laws of this Realm in that behalf
provided And which induces the said Richard Brown< no role >
to pray that
the said James Roupell< no role >
may be Summoned to Answer the aforesaid
Complaints at the next General Sessions of the Peace to be held at
Hicks Hall
in and for the said County of Middlesex
and shew Cause
why his Lycense and Recognizance should not be forfeited
pursuant to the Statute Etc
