& others for Perjury

John Green< no role > of Richmond in the County of Surry Gentleman Maketh Oath that he this Deponant Did on
Wednesday last at Ten of the Clock in the Morning at Wills Coffee house by Lineders Inn Recive a Notice
in Writeing Purporting that by an Order made in this Court on Monday last that Elizabeth Chapman< no role >
the above Defendant Did Intend to Appear as this Day to take her Tryall for Wilfull Perjury in which
this Deponant is one of the Wittnesses against the Said Elizabeth Chapman< no role > And this Deponant further
Saith that as Soon a he Received the Said Notice he Applyed to the Said William Knight< no role > who is were
a Prisoner in Newgate at the Suit of the above Defendants Husband who Accquainted this Deponant
that he had also Received the like Notice of the Said Tryall on Monday in the afternoon And
Desired this Deponant to Enquire after & find out John Meade< no role > who is one of the Principall
Wittnesses in this Cause And this Deponant further Saith that on Wednesday he went & Enquired
at one Mr. Daniells on Tower Hill where he had before heard of the said John Stead< no role > & was there
[..] they had not seen or heard of the Said Meade for Sometime neither could they Direct this
Deponant where to Enquire for him This Deponant went also to Merchant Taylors Hall where this
Deponant heard of him when the Bill was found against the Defend and but could get no
Satisfactory Account of him there And Yesterday in the afternoon was Informed at the
Coach & Fortes in Saint Bartolomew Close that the Said John Meade< no role > was on Ship beard at the
Now which Information this Deponant Beleives to be true And without the Testamony of the
Said John Made< no role > it is not Sat to go to Tryall in this Cause And this Deponant Verily Beleives
the Said John Meade< no role > may be Produced at at the next Sessions And this Deponant further Saith
that about Six of the Clock in the Eavening Yesterday this Deponant See Mr Harvey the
Defendants Attorney & told him wee should not be Ready for him to Day
