his Indenture Witnesseth that John Hope< no role > Son
of William Hope< no role > of Tibbertorn in the County of hereford Husband
man I & with his Consent doth put himself Apprentice to Elizabeth
Steel
< no role > of Well Street in the Parish of St Mary White for White Chappel
[..] Widow [..] in the County of Middlesex Grocer
to learn her Art and with herafter the manner of an Apprentice to Se [..] in the Nineth Day of
November last past before Date herunto the fullond and Term of Seven Years from
[..] there and following to be fully compleat and ended during which Term the Said Apprentice
his said Mistres faithfully Shall or will serve her Secrets keep her lawfull Commands
every where guitly do he shall do no Damage to his said Mistres nor see it to be done of others
butts his Power shalllet or forthwith give Notice to his said Mistres of the same The Goods of his
said Mistres shall not Waste nor the same without Licence of her to any give or bend Hurt to
his said Mistres he shall not do cause or Procurr to be done he shall neither Buy nor
Sell without his Mistres Licence Taverns Inns or Alehouses he shall not hunt At Cards Dict
Tables or any other unlawful Game he shall not play Matrimony he shall not contract Nor from the Service
of his said Mistres Day nor Night absent himself during all the said Term Hnd the said Elizabeth
Steal Widow aforesaid for and in Consideration of the Sum of Fourteen
Guineas Many in hand well and truly paid by thesaidUntill Joseph Stephens< no role >
Doth hereby for himslef Executors Administrators and Assigns Covenant [..] to and with

manner that She came and Apprentice to the Art or Trade of a Grocer
