which the Petr. reced a kick neare his Groin, whereby
the Petr. is become bursten and several other blows &
kicks whereby the Petr. was very much brimsed & hurt
And that the Petr. haveing a natural aversion to cheese
the Petrs. Mother at the time when the Petr. became
bound did agree with his Master that the Petr. Should
be allowed some butter or cold meat for breakfast
or Supper, And that the Petr. hath had only bread and
small beer for breakfast & supper altho the Petrs. Master
reced with the Petr. twenty pounds in Money, And the
Petr. therefore prayed that he may be discharged from
his Said Master, And that the Petrs. Master may be
Ordered by this Court to return or pay back to the
Petrs. Mother or Friends the said sum of twenty
pounds reced with the Petr. in order to turn over or
replace the Petr. to another Master, the hearing and
determining the matter of which petition was
appointed to be [..] haeard & determined by this
Court on this present Friday the twenty sixth day of
April instant, Now upon hearing of What was allodged
by the Petr. & his Councel and also by the said James
Chevallier
< no role > & his Councell, And Upon examination
of several persons upon their Oaths touching the
premisses, Forasumch as it appeareth to this Court
that the said James Chevallier Since the hearing of the
said former petition hath Several times cruelly beaten
& abused the Petr. And hath Stripped the Petr. maked
and whipped him with burchen rods in a Severe and
barbarous manner insomuch that his body was very
bloody and rawand that the Said James
Chevallier
