the Peace Appointed High Constable within the Hundred of Edmonton
in
this County who hath now Applied to this Court to be discharged from the
said Appointment Alledging that he is Aged and infirm This Court being
of Opinion that the said Excuse is well founded Doth hereby Nominate
and Appoint

aforesaid Shopkeeper
to be High
Constable
within the said Hundred And doth Order that he forthwith
Attend one of His Majestys Justices of the Peace
of this County residing
in or near the said Hundred and take his Oath for the due Execution
of the said Office And then the said

is to stand discharged
of and from the said Order of Appointment.

Repairs of H. of
Correction Clerkenwell
referred to Mr.
Mainnaring.
Upon Reading the Humble Petition of

Governor
or
Keeper of the House of Correction at Clerkenwell
Settingforth that the
Dwelling house of the said Keeper in the said House is in a very bad
Condition the Rain entring in continually And that the same has
been examined by the Worshipfull

. one of
his Majestys Justices of the Peace
for the said County And praying
that the same may be Ordered to be repaired And the said Mr. Mainwaring
now reporting to this Court that the Substance of the said Petition
is True and also that the Pump in the Yard there is defective and
likewise that there are some repairs necessary to be done to the
Gateway of the said House of Correction
It is Ordered that the
said several necessary Repairs be forthwith done And that the said
Mr. Mainwaring be and he is hereby Desired to direct the same
to be performed at the Charge of this County and to Examine and
Inspect the Execution of the same and the Workmens Bills of
Charges and make his report thereof Etc

Prisoners Committed to the House of Correction

Labour by reason of the want of a Stock of Kemp to beat and other

of their Imprisonment hath been no wise Answered Which this
Court now taking into Serious consideration Doth hereby recommend
and refer it to
