July 11th .

Justices of the Peace for this County and to such other of His Majestys
said Justices or any three of them as shall please to be Present to meet
together at the House of Correction aforesaid on Friday the Nineteenth
day of this Instant July by four of the Clock in the afternoon and
make enquiry into the true cause of the Scarcity of Work and
Labour and to consider of the most proper and Effectual means of
procuring Materials for usefull work and Labour there And to report
their Opinion to the Court on the County day of the next General
Session of the Peace to be held for this County And the Cryer of
this Court is to give the above named Justices notice of the time
and place of such meeting Etc

A Bill of Messieurs James Jefferson< no role > and Robert Clark< no role > Gentleman
Attorneys and Sollicitors of Fees Charges and Disbursements in the
business before the last Session of Parliament on the Defence of this
County against an Application from the City of London to Charge this
County with a considerable part of the Expences of pulling down and
Rebuilding the Gaol of Newgate being lay'd before this Court It is
Recommended and referred to

His Majestys Justices of the Peace for this County here Present and
such other of the said Justices as shall please to be present to meet
together at Hicks Hall on Thursday the first day of August next by nine
o Clock in the forenoon to Examine and Settle the said Bill and to report
what they shall Judge to be due or ought to be paid to the said Messrs.
