Upon reading the Petition of
John Gurney< no role >
one of the High Constables
within the Hundred of Gore setting forth that he hath served the Office of
High Constable
for the said Hundred from Midsummer 1763 and having
much business to do in the Farming way which has been very much
neglected by his necessary Attendance on the said Office and having a
large Family to support Therefore prayed to be discharged from the said
Office And this Court being satisfied in the Premisses Doth Appoint

of Harrow
Weald in the Parish of Harrow
Gentleman
to be
High Constable
within the said Hundred in the stead and place of the said
John Gurney< no role >
and doth Order that the said
Joseph Weedon< no role >
on Notice
hereof do forthwith Attend one of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
for
this County residing in or near the said Hundred and take his Oath for
the due Execution of the said Office and that when and after the said
Joseph Weedon< no role >
shall have taken his said Oath the said

is
to stand absolutely discharged from the said Office.

appointed one of the High Constables

is now gone to reside at St. Peters Chalfont
in the
County of Bucks and this Court being satisfyed in the Premisses Doth
appoint Michael Coomes of Hendon
in the said Hundred of Gore Gentleman
to be High Constable
within the said Hundred in the Stead and place of the
said John Ventum and doth Order that the said

on Notice
