At the General Session of the peace of our Sovereign Lord< no role > the
King holden for the County of Middx at Hicks Hall in St. John
Street in the County aforesaid by adjornment on Thursday
the Ninth day of September in the Sixteenth year of the
reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second King of
Great Britain Etc.

Order for confirming Report
concerning the Accot. of
Mr. Higgs Trear of Middx }

Upon reading the above written Report It is Ordered by
this Court that the Said Report be ratifyed & confirmed, and
the Same is hereby ratifyed & confirmed accordingly.

By Adjornmt. on Thursday the 9th. day of September 1742

& Mr. Marquand Contractors
for the building of Brentford
Bridge, and for the Bridge
Committee to adjust what
is due or fit to be allowed.
to persons for measuring,
damages & reict of houses

Whereas James Clitherow< no role > Samuel Tatem< no role > John Poulson< no role >
Merry Teshmaker< no role > Thomas Moore< no role > & William Morice< no role > Elaniers being
a Quorum of the Committee of his Maties Justices of the
peace for this County appointed to State & adjust the publick
accounts of the Said County have by their Report in writing
dated this Ninth day of September instant reported unto this
Court That they have perused the Account of Mr. Dunne and
Mr. Marquand the Contractors for building of Brentford Bridge
viewed examined and Settled by Mr. James Horne< no role > and Mr.
Samuel Bond< no role > the Measurers for the County, And that by the
first Bill and Account there appears due to the Said
Contractors £1246..8s..4d And on theSaidSecond Bill and
Account £1894..12s..0d. And that on the Second Bill It appears
to the Committee that there is a charge of £14. allowed for
Cripps wharf, which the Committee find that the Sessions
did allow only £10. which has been paid by the Treasurer,
which Sum of £14. being deducted out of the Said Sum of
£1894..12s..0d. reduces that Sum to £1880..12s..0d which makes
in the whole £3127..0s..4d And that the Contractors have
received of the Treasurer the Sum of £1546..13s..0d which
being deducted out of the Said Sum of £3127..0s..4d reduces
the Sum due to the Contrators to £1580..7s..4d including Six pence
P foot allowed by the Measurers to the Contractors to the
County for the Old Stuff of the temporary Bridge, which the
Contractors [..] Pray to be heard by the Court to that Article, And
that the Committee has a further account for measuring
