the Ninth Day of April in the Fourteenth Year of his prsent Maties
Reign And at another Session (to wit) At the General Quarter Session
of the Peace holden at Hicks Hall in Sr. John Street in and for the
County of Middx aforesd. by Adjournment on Thursday the fifteenth
Day of October in the fifteenth Year of his prsent Maties Reign
Upon reading the sd. respective prsentments at the sd. respective Sessions
And on Consideration had of the same make Three seval Orders And
also Three seval Rates or Assessments upon every Town Parish &
Place in the sd. County for raising the seval Sums of Eight Hundreds
Pounds, Eight Hundred Pounds, & Sixteen Hundred Pounds to Repair
or Rebuild the sd. Bridges And to Answer the other Ends & purposes
mentioned in an Act of Parliament made in the Twelfth Year
of his sd. Maties Reign Intituled an Act for the more Easy assessing
Collecting and levying of County Rates And Whereas it appeareth
to this Court at this prsent Session that the sd. Bridge called Brentford
Bridge is now rebuilt in a Substantial & Workman like manner
And that all the Money raised on the Two first Rates or Assessmts.
had been paid and Expended to Answer the Ends & Purposes mencons
in the sd. Act And that three fourths of the Money Collected by
Virtue of the sd. last Rate have been also paid & Expended to
Answer the Ends & purposes menconed in the sd. One Which said
last menconed Rate for Sixteen Hundred Pounds is the last
preceding Rate made upon the Towns Parishes and places in
the sd. County for raising Money for the Ends & Purposes
menconed in the aforesd. Act Now for as much as it apperaeth
to this Court that it is Necessary that a Considerable Sum of
Money should be raised & a Rate for that purpose made upon
the Towns Parishes & Places in the said County for Raising
of Moneys for the paying the Expence of Rebuilding the sd. Bridges
& for the other purposes mentioned in the said Act of
Parliament This Court upon Consideration of the Prmes. is of
Opinion And doth accordingly Order that a General Rate be
made & Assessed upon every Town Parish or Place in the said
County for raising the Sum of Two Thousand pounds which
this Court doth think Necessary to be raised to pay the
Charge of Rebuilding the sd. Bridges And to Answer the
other Ends and purposes menconed in the sd. Act And to the
Intent that the sd. Sum may be raised for the Purposes
aforesd. This Court by Virtue of the said Act Doth Assess
