And this Court doth Order & Require that every High Constable
in the sd. County of Middx do on or before the Tenth Day of
October next demand in Writing the Sum of Money rated and
Assessed in the aforesd. Rate upon each Town Parish or Place in
his Division or District of the Church Wardens or Overseers of
the Poor of the same Town Parish or place or any of them who are
hereby required out of the Money Collected or to be Collected for
the Relief of the Poor of such Parish or place to pay such Money
so rated and assessed thereupon in the sd. Rate unto such High
Constable within the Space of Thirty Days after demand thereof
so made in writeing to be given to the sd. Church Wardens Chappel
Wardens or Overseers of the Poor or any of them And every
High Constable in the sd. County is hereby required at or before
the next Generall Quarter Session of the Peace for this County
after he shall have received such Sum or Sums of Money to
pay the same into the Hands of John Higgs< no role > of the Inner Temple
London Gentleman residing in Southampton Buildings in the
said County of Middx who is the Treasurer of this County he
haveing formerly given Security by Bond to be Accountable
for the Seval Sums of Money which shall be paid to him in
pursuance of the sd. Act of Parliament And for his payment
of such Money as shall be Ordered to be paid by the Justices
of the Peace for this County in their General or Quarter Sessions
And in Case the Church Wardens Chappel Wardens & Overseers
of the Poor of any Town Parish of place before menconed or any
of them shall neglect or refuse to pay the Sum of Money assessed
thereupon in the sd. Rate within Thirty Days after demand made
as aforesd. the High Constable of the Hundred Division or District
in which such Town, Parish or Place so assessed Doth Lye is by
the sd. Act of Parliament Empowered & he is hereby required to
Levy the same by Distress & Sale of the Goods & Chattells of such
Church Wardens Chappel Wardens & Overseers of the Poor or
any of them so refuseing or neglecting to pay the same as aforesd.
by Warrant under the Hands & Seals of two or more Justices of
the Peace of the sd. County residing in or near such Parish or
place rendring the Overplus (if any there shall be after deducting
the Money assessed And the Charges of the Distress & Sale) to the
Owner or Owners thereof And the High Constables Church Wardens
Chappel Wardens & Overseers of the Poor in the sd. County are not
to fail of Performing the matters & things above menconed Enjoyned
them by this Order made in pursuance of the sd. Act of Parliament
under the Penaltys contained in the sd. Act
