direction of the Said Committee, Dated this twenty Sixth day
of February 1740, Char: Marquand, This Court upon reading
the Said Agreement Doth approve of the Same, And doth
hereby order that it be And It is hereby recomended & referred
unto the Committee of his Majesty's Justices of the peace for this
County for transacting matters relating to the rebuilding or
repairing the publick Bridges of the Said County and also for
inspecting & adjusting the publick accounts of the Same County
