Order for licences
Signed, at the last
General renewing of
licenes in Holborn
Division & the Tower
Division to be transmitted
to Justices in Petty Sessions
for their inspeccon Etc}

It is Ordered by this Court that the Licences Signed (at the last
General Renewing of Licences) for Alehouse keepers and
Retailers of Brandy and other distilled liquors in Holborne
Division & the Tower Division in this County and now
remaining in the hands of the clerk of the peace at their Petty
Sessions within the said Divisions for their inspecton, to the end
that the licences of such of the said Alehouse keepers and
Retailers as keep disorderly house may be Stopped and
hindred from deliver being delivered unto them.

Order for giving 40 days
notice in the London Gazett
a Daily Courant before
the renewing of licences
for Allehouse keepers Etc
forthwith to deliver an
Account of their Christian
names, Surnames, and
places of aboad to the
Clerk of the Justices of each
Division within the
Weekly Bills of Mortality
Etc.}

For preventing of Alehousekeepers & Retalers of Brandy and other
distilled liquors residing within such part of the weekly Bills of
Mortality as lyes within the County of Middx, who keep
disorderly houses, from being licenced to Sell beer, ale, brandy
or other distilled liquors by retale, It is Ordered by this Court
that publick Notice be given in the London Garet or Daily
Courant fourty days before the first day of September yearly
That the Several persons who Sell beer, ale, brandy or other
distilled liquors by retale within such part of the said Weekly
Bills of Mortality as lyes within the said County and who
shall desire to be licenced for the year ensueing do forthwith
deliver in an Account in writing of their Christian names
and Surnames and of the places of their aboad to the Clerk of
the Justices of the peace of this County acting at the Petty
Sessions within the Division wherein such persons dwell,
To the intent that the same may be laid before the Justices
of the peace of their next Meeting (after such notice given)
in such Division, for their inspection, And the said
Alehouse keepers and Retalers are required to deliver in
such account accordingly.
