fifteen pounds & Six Shillings to him the said Paul Warden,
And that the said Paul Warden did peticon the Court in July
Sessions one thousand seven hundred & thirty one for payment
of the said sume of fifteen pounds & six shillings and for one
pound & ninteen shillings due to the said Paul Warden
for carpenters work done at Hicks hall which said sumes
amount in the whole to seventeen pounds & five shillings,
And that by Order of Court the peticon of the said paul
Warden was referred unto Simon Michell< no role > & Robert Tothill< no role >
Esqrs . to examine into the truth of the matters therein
contained and to make their Report to the Court touching
the same, And that the Seventeenth day of the same Month
of July the said simon Michell< no role > & Robert Tothill< no role > Esqr . did
examine into the matters to them referred, and were of
opinion that the said sume of seventeen pounds & five
shillings was due to the Said Paul Warden, and that the
same ought to be paid to him, And the said John Warden< no role > Execr.
of the said Paul Warden praying that this Court will order the
said sume of seventeen pounds & five shillings to be paid to
him the said John Warden< no role > , For as much as it appeareth to this
Court by the Report of the said simon Michell< no role > & Robert Tothill< no role >
Esqrs . two of his Maties Justices of the peace for this County that
they have examined into the matters referred to them by the
said Order, and are of opinion that seventeen pounds & five
shillings is due for the aforesaid worke and unpaid and that the
same ought to be paid, This Court being satisfyed of the truth of
the premisses Doth Order that John Higgs< no role > Gent General
Treasurer of this County doe out of the publickmoney which
now is or shalll come to his hands forthwith pay unto the said
John Warden< no role > the said sume of seventeen pounds & five
shillings in full of the said demand, whose receipt together
with this Order shall be a sufficient discharge to the said
Treasurer for such payment.
