Whereas
James Sharpless< no role >
Gentleman
was appointed
high Constable
of Holborne Division within the Hundred
of Ossulston
in this County in February Sessions one
thousand seven hundred and twenty seven And it being
contrary to the tenor of an Order made in January Sessions
one thousand seven hundred & eighteen that any high
Constable
in this County should continue in his Office
above the Space of three years, It is therefore Ordered
by this Court that it be And It is hereby recomended
unto his Maties Justices of the peace
for this County
inhabiting within the said Division to assemble and
meet together at the Castle Tavern
neare Grays Inn
Gate in Holborne
at such time as they shall in this
behalf appoint to consider of a fit person to be returned
for high Constable of the said Division in the room
& place of the said
