the Chairman, and desire-
ing him to cause his
Charge to be printed.}

It is Ordered that the thanks of this Court be and they are hereby
given unto William Cowper< no role > Esqr . Chairman of this Courtly for
his Vertuous & learned Charge by him this day given to the
Grand Jury and other Jurys assembled at this present
General Quarter Sessions of the peace holden for the County
of Middx , And this Court doth desire that the Said Chairman
will be pleased to cause his said Charge to be printed,

It is Ordered by this Court that a letter be written by the Clerk
of the peace of this County or his Deputy unto Robert
Midford Esqr . one of his Maties Justices of the peace for the Said
County to acquaint him his Maties Justices of the peace of the
Said County this day assembled at their General Quarter
Sessions holden at Hicks hall desire his company at dinner
there on Thursday next at one of the Clock in the afternoon,
And that he will after dinner be pleased to explain himselfe
touching a matter of complaint this day moved to the Court
by John Webster< no role > Esqr . against the Said Mr. Midfords proceeding
in the Comittment of Abraham Spencer< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. and Margaret
Beerman to the House of Correction at Clerkenwell , the one
the ninth day of September last for a trespass and for want of
Sureties and refuseing at the Same time to Suffer the Said Mr.
Webster to act with him in the bailing of the Said persons or to
accept the Said Mr. Webster himself as Bail, tho' he offered
himself for that purpose, whereas the Said Abraham Spencer< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. is
alledged to be only the Attorney of the Said Mrs. Beerman
(unconcerned otherwise than as Such) in the case, and a person
of considerable substance and reputacon,

A letter was written accordingly bearing date the 12th. of October 1730.

It is Ordered by this Court that a letters be written by the Clerk of the peace
or his Deputy unto Richard Brown< no role > & Jacob Harvey< no role > Esqrs Justice of the
peace of this County to acquaint them that his Maties Justices of the peace
of the Said County this day assembled at their General Quarter Sessions
holden at Hicks hall desire the favour of their company there at
dinner on Thursday next at two of the clock in the afternoon, And
that they will be pleased after dinner to explain themselves
touching a certain matter of Complaint this day made by Richard
Manley Esqr. one of his Maties Justices of the peace of the Said
County of their doeing the Parocheal busyness of the parish of St.
Giles without Cripplegate (tho' the Said Mr Browne & Mr. Harvey
live in the parish of St. Mary Islington ) without the notice or privity of
the Said Mr. Manley (who is willing and ready to act in Such matters
in his Said parish of St. Giles without Cripplegate where he resides) and
not in any petty Sessions or publick Meeting where the Said Mr. Manley< no role >
can have an opportunity of being present, contrary to the recomendatory
Order of this Court desiring Justices to confine themselves to their respective
parishes & Divisions upon Such occasions,
