Several parishes and places hereinafter menconed in the Tower Liberty
and within the Tower Division in this County and also to direct
that the Said moneys should be raised & paid to Philip Belty< no role > Gent
high Constable of the Said Division and that he should pay over
the same to William Cotesworth< no role > Esqr . the Treasurer to enable him
to pay the moneys due to Constables for their trouble & expences in
conveying & releiving of Vagrants which assessment upon the Said
parishes and places within the Said Tower Liberty is as followeth

It appeareth to this Court by the said Report that the Churchwardens
Overseers of the poor and petty Constables of these places had insisted
before the said Justices that the said several places are within the Said
Liberty of his Maties Tower of London and that by a Charter or
patent they take themselves to have a particular Jurisdiccon
exclusive from this County of Middx and therefore take themselves
to be totally exempted from paying any Rate or Assessment
made upon them towards defraying any charge for passing of
Vagrants in the said County And that the said Charter or Patent
had been read before the said three Justices(part of which is
setforth verbatim in the said Report)And they report it as their
opinion to this Court that the Said Severall places for the future
ought not to be charged by the County on these or the like
occasions, This Court upon consideracon had of the said Report is
of opinion that the determinacon of that matter ought to be left
to the Judgment of this Court, And doth thereupon recomend and
referr it back to the Said Justices to reconsider the matters to them
referred by the said former Order, And to rectify their said Report,
and to make their Report touching the premisses unto the Court of
the next Generall Quarter Sessions of the peace for this County on
the County day of the Same Sessions,
