Order for takeing
away allowance to
Justices of peace &
their Cls. on stateing
publique accts.

This Court takeing notice that where Comittees of
Justices of peace for this County have been appointed to
audite & inspect any publique accompts or to View any
publique bridges of this County being out of repaire
or other publique place under the care & direccon
of the Justices of the peace of this County, considerable
sumes of money have been charged for the expences
of such Comittees & their Clerkes in takeing such
views and in & about the drawing up auditeing &
adjusting of the said accompts, which (this Court is
of opinion) ought not to be allowed in such accompts
It is Ordered by this Court that for the future noe
allowance shall be made to any Justices of the peace
for this County to be hereafter appointed to audite
& adjust any publique accompts or View any such
publique bridges or other places as aforesaid or
their Clerkes either for their expences or for their
trouble or attendance in or about the same,
