Upon consideracon had of the great Services done by
Robert Thornhill< no role > Esqr . Chairman of this Court Cln. Milner Esqr. It is
thought fit & Ordered by this Court that the thanks of
this Court be and they are hereby given to the said
Mr Thornhill & Mr Milner for the zealous & effectuall Services by
them him rendred to the publique & to the Comicon of the
peace of this County;in that Stacon & otherwise,
and particularly upon the occasion of the peticon
of his Maties. Justices of the peace for this County to the
honble. House of Comons in order to obtaine an Act
of Parliamt. for the establishing of a nightly Watch,
the consideracon whereof is now was lately depending in
Parliamt; And It is further Ordered that this Order
be entred among the publique orders of this Court.
