The Examination of John Morris< no role >
taken upon Oath the 2d. Day of
March 1726 .

Saith that he is a Native of Welch Pool in Mont-
-gomeryshire and was bred a Farmer . That he this Ex-
aminant has been in Town Eight on Nine years and has
lived with Mr Billett in St. Mary Axe in the said City of
London about four Months and went from thence to
Mr. Blackbourn in the Strant Oiland Colourman , where
he this Examinant continued about five or Six Months
and afterwards he lived with Hullam near the same
Place Six or Seven Months and with Bishop of Saint
Giles in the same Business about Two years, then he
this Examinant went to live with Mr. Davis in Bishop
gate Street in the said City where he continued about One
Year and a Half, That he this Examinant then went
into the Country and stayed there three Weeks or a Month
then returned to London and lived with Mr. Beechcroft
a Wholesale Grocer in Queen hith in the said City about
Six Months and from theme Examinant, went to
Mr. Kays a Wholesale Grocer in St. Anne's Church Yard
Blackfriars in the said City and lived with him four
or five Months and quitted the Service of the said Kays
about a Week before Christmas. That about Six Week age
he this Examinant first saw Rogers either at the Bell or
at Price's at the Horse Shoe, That Richard Newton< no role > from
the West of England did live with Stanton and Denham
in Faster Lane in the said City. That he this Exami-
-nant has known Haslam about Twelve Months and
that the said Haslam lived at Wilson and Thornhills.
That Examinant's Brother Edward Morris< no role > lives at the
First Turning on the Right Hand over Black Friars
Bridge and cuts up wood for Sale, James Morris< no role > and
Brother of this Examinant's is a Clicker at a Shoemaker 's in
