Eyles the sd Office or Warden or Keeper of the Fleet & in the custody of the Prison & Goal
of the Fleet situate & being in the prish of St Bridgett otherwise St Brides without Ludgate London
& of the Prisoners committed or to be committed to the prison & Goal of the Fleet afsd. And the
capital mosse for the Custody of the Prisoners & 13 Mosses in the Prsh afsd. And all other Mosses
Lands teneiments Pheredits to the sd Office belonging & assertaining And all other Mosses
lands tenements & heredicts to the lands & tenements within his sd City of London & Suburbs
of the same to the sd Office & the Custody of the Prison and Goal of the Fleet afsd. belonging
& assertaining and all the other fees salaries rents profits emoluments commodities
priviledges & heredits to the sd Office and prison & to the keeper or Custody of the same or
either of them in any wise belonging or assertaining and him the sd Jno Eyler< no role > Wardens
Keeper of the Fleet & of the prison & Goal of the Fleet assrid make and constitute by
the sd Lres patent To have hold and exercise the sd Offices Messes Lands Tenemts
rents annuities fees salaries liberties profits advantages Heredts. afsd. & all and singular
other the Premes afsd with their & every of their assuets unto the sd John Eyles< no role > by himself
or his sufficient Deputy or Deputies for whom he shod be answerable for & during the will
and pleasure of his sd Mjty his Heirs and Successors in as ample a manner & form as his
Father John Eyles< no role > deced or any other Warden of his sd Mjstys Prison of the Fleet afsd &
Keeper of the Palaces at Westmr. afsd or either of them theretofore had held used or enjoyed
or ought to have had held used or enjoyed the sd Offices & other Premes afsd. or any or either of
them And it further appears to this Court in evidence & is admitted by all parties that the
13 Mosses mentd. in the sd letters patent have since the date thereof been reduced in number
to 9 Distinct tenements or Messes the Occupiers of which are resptly assessed and rated in
the Parish Books and are not included in the above complained of Rate And that past
