The Humble Petition and Appeal of the Church Wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Margaret in the
City of Westminster

Sheweth

That by virtue of an order Pass Warrant bearing date
the Seventh day of September One Thousand Seven hundred and
eighty two, under the Hands and Seals of the At Honble Sir. William Plomer< no role >
Knight Lord Mayor< no role > and one of His Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the Peace of the City of London , and Sir. Thos. Hallifax
thought Alderman and one of His Majesty< no role > 's Justice of the Peace
for the said City of London (one being of the Quorum) Mary
Whippell Singlewoman , was Removed from and out of the
Parish of Saint Dunstan in the West in the City of London to the
Parish of Saint Margaretin the City of Wesminister as the Place
of her last legal Settlement, whereby you Petitioners Conceive
themselves to be Aggrieved.

Your Petitioners therefore most humbly pray That the
Benefit of the said Appeal may be saved unto them
and that the hearing and determining the same pray
be Adjourned until the next General Session of the Peace
