the half Crown [..] at the said other Man say'd that was not
of the Value and the Prisoner then Proposed lending a Guine [..]
to make it up, untill the next Morning and then took Inform [..]
Cloak and Informant gave him the half Crown which he
delivered to the said other Man and asked Informant if the
had a Handkerchief to put the Cloak into. that She replied
she had not one the thereupon put it into the Handkerchief
in which the Ring and Pocket book was found, that the
Prisoner said to Informant that his Name was Thompson
and that he was a Book Keeper at the Swan and Two
Necks That upon Informants Cloak and half a Crown
being given to the other Man the ring was delivered to her
by the Prisoner and he desired She would keep it untill
the next Morning, and that he and the other man would
bring her to where she lived the three Guineas which her
Share of the Ring amounted to and also return her the Clock
and the half Crown upon which they parted. That the Ring
now produced is the same as the Prisoner gave her and
of little or no Value
