Who being on Oath say and frist the said George Smith< no role >
says that a Person now present who calls himself, John Wood< no role >
hath worked for this Informant as a Journeyman Buckle maker
for the space of Ten Years past and that twenty seven Dozen and
five pair of Silver Shoe and Knee Buckles now produced [..] by the said
John Humpage< no role >
are this Informants property and were feloniously
stolen out of his Shop by as this Informant doth verily
believe the said John Wood< no role >
as also seven pair of Silver
shoe Buckles now produced by the said William Young< no role >
the said William Young< no role >
says that Yesterday Eleanor Wood< no role >
now present, Wife of the said John Wood< no role >
came to this Informant
Shop and Pledged one pair of the said Silver Shoe Buckles for
nine ShillingsThat said Eleanor Wood< no role >
afterwards came again
with another pairthat suspecting she did not come honestly
by them he Threatened to have her taken up, on which she
delivered Five more pair of Silver shoe Buckles to this Informant
And the said John Humpage< no role >
says that he Yesterday searched the House
of the said John wood< no role >
No.13 in Coppice Row Clerkenwell
and found
therein the said twenty seven Dozen and Five pair of Silver Shoe and
Knee Buckles< no role >
now produced and Sworn to by the said George Smith< no role >
