She should not want for Meat Money or a good bad to lie,
on, but Informant refund to go. That the Prisoners Mary
Carron said that if the Informt. went with her she shod have
her hat & Cloak and might have her own behind. That
Informant replied she would not go with them, That the
Prisoner Carron then told Informt. that Mr Stenson had sent
her four Guineas to buy her a Gown and Pettycoat or any
thing he she wanted, and at the Same time proposed that
Informant should go to her House, the Prisoner Morris's
Mother, or to Mr Menson's House< no role > No. 9 in Bull & Months Street
but Informant still presisted in refusing to go. whereupon
Mr Joseph Gates< no role > came into the Room and Informant then
went out.

Informant John Sowerby< no role > saith that that lastnight
Tuesday Night the Prisoner Mary Carron< no role > and Joseph Morris< no role >
were in his House in Company with Informant Elizabeth Davis< no role >
and that he heard the one or both of them Say, that they came
form Mr Henson (no Informant believes) the Prisoner now in
Custody in Woodstreet Compt [..] charged with coming, and that
Mr Gates had offered to the sd. Informt Davis Twenty Pounds
or Twenty Guineas, to speak certain Words to Prosecute Stenson
thus Davis replied that Mr Gates meaning as Informt. believe
the City char shall) had not offered her any thing, nor said any
Such thing to her, that the Prisoners or the one of them said
that Mr Stenson wod make it Forty Guineas or Better, if she
wod go with them Informant then went out for a Constable
and gave Charge of the Prisoners, that when Mary Carron< no role > and
Joseph Morris< no role > were taken into Custody and put into a Coach
to carry them to the Compter, the Prisoner Mary Carron< no role > said
to Informant that she had taken Care, that Informant shod
not have his Maid to Morris meaning as Informant
believes the said Informant Davis
