The joint and several Informations of Henry
Hierogymus Deacon
< no role > of the Temple London Gentleman
and John Thornton< no role > of Mansion House Street London,
Clark,and Thomas Gates< no role > of the Mansion House London
Gentleman , Robert Harrison< no role > of Mansion House Street
London Clerk Who being on Oath severally say, And
First the said Henry Hieronymus Deacon for himself
saith, that about six O' Clock Yesterday Afternoon he
was settling his Accounts of last paid and received
by him as Clerk to Messienes Bolders and Company
Bankers, in their Shop in Mansion House Street
London, when William Walsh< no role > the Prisoner now
under Examination came into the Shop and asked
Informant where Smith, Wright and Gray lived
Informant answered No 21 Lombard Street there
was then lying on the Counter, amongst several bags
of Gold, the bag of Silver now produced, containing one
Crown Piece, three half Crown Pieces, one hundred
and thirty nine Shillings and eleven six Pences in
SilverImmediately after Informant gave the
above Answer the Prisoner put his hand upon
the Counter, and took the bag with the Silver now
produced, and instantly run out of the Shop
Informant jumped ever the County Followed the
Prisoner down Princes Street and met him in Lothbury out by ye Court and called out
stop thief Informant is certain, that the
bag now produced, is the same taken by the
Prisoner in manner aforesaid, and the Silver therein
agrees with the Money counted, except six Pence
which appears to be deficient

And the said John Thornton< no role > for
himself saith, that Yesterday Evening about six
O'Clock, he observed the Prisoner now under
Examination, lurking about the Shop of Messieurs
Bolders and Companythe Prisoner came into
the Shop, and asked the other Informant Henry
Hierenymus Deacon< no role > , where Smith, Wright and
Gray lived, and Mr Deacon told him No 21 in ye
Lombard Street Informant, instantly after this
Answer, saw the Prisoner take a bag [..] containing as
Informant believes, the Silver Monies now
