Informant Ann Gifford< no role >
saith that on Saturday Evening last she
went out of her Appartment on Aldermanbury
aforesaid and Locked
the Door without leaving an body therein, that about five o'Clock
she returned also found her Door open the Prisoner John Lawley< no role >
together with a Person unknow to Informant therein that one
pair of Sheets Three Pety Coats one Pair of Breeches
and three
Gowns the Property of Infomants said Husband were put into the
Bag Now Produced by the Prisoner and the said other Person with
intent to take away the same That upon Informants going
into the Room the Prisoner and the said other Person ran only
of the House leasing the said Bay and things therein behind
them in the Room. That Informant there upon called out stop
Thief and the Informant Robert Hopkins< no role >
immediately secured
the Prisoner in a Court in Phillips Lane that the is Turn the
Prisoner
is one of the said Persons she saw in her Room and Ran
out upon seeing her

Cry of Stop Thief on Saturday Evening last and seeing the Prisoner
and another Person same out of the House where the said other
Informant Lodged andcan away that he Informant pursued [..] him

apprehended the Prisoner upon
