The joint and several Informations of John
Dawson of Friday Street , London Inn holden and James
Wilson of Distaff Lane London Victualler Who being
on Oath severally say And First the said John Dawson< no role >
for himself saith, that in consequence of a Message sent
to him, Yesterday Afternoon, he went to the blue Last
in Distaff Lane, and saw the Pint and half pint Pots
now produced in the Possession of James Wilson< no role > who
told Informant, he had taken them from the Prisoner France Wife of Frederick Owen< no role >
Informant is certain, that the Pots are his Property, and
he believes, they were stolen from him by the Prisoner
And the said James Wilson< no role > for himself saith, that
the Prisoner about half past Four O' Clock Yesterday
Afternoon came to his tap room and had a penny worth
of Portershe staid untill all the Company was gone
out of the room, where she was, and looking about
to watch Informant, he suspected she wanted to take
Somethingthe Prisoner went out and returned, when
the Informant put his hand, round her and Felt the
Handle of a PotInformant then searched the
Prisoner , and Found the three Pots now produced in
her PocketsInformant hold the Prisoner she had
been stealing of the Pots, but she made no Answer.
