The Information of James Watkinson of
Redcroft Street< no role > London Hot Presser Who, being
on Oath, saith that whilst he was sitting in a little
Room facing a yard belonging to his Dwelling House
he perceived two Silk Handkerchiefs that were
hanging upon a Line there taken from off the Line
but not being able to see who took thems he &
mother Person wait unto the Pass age, and there
he saw Frances Jones< no role > the Prisoner now under
Examination , with the two Silk Handkerchief.
in her Hand and on her being ask'd by this Informants
Brothers (who was the other person above spoken of
What she did then she answered-nothing-on
which she dropped the said Handkerchiefs, says
[..] two Handkerchiefs now produced are the same
which he saw taken from off the Line and afterwards
dropped by the said prisoner, and are the Property
of him this Informant and of the Value of
two Shillings and upwards.
