[..] The Voluntary Information of William
Cooks who of admitted an Evidence for the Crown
Wm being on Oath saith, that he hath been acquainted
with Daniel Reynolds< no role > , the Prisoner now under Examination
for some time past Says, that about six Weeks ago,
he met him by appointment in Grub Street , and produced
to Informant a silver pint Mug, which the said Daniel
Reynolds said, he had that Morning took out of the
House ofthe said Elizabeth Swirburn< no role > his Mistress
that the Mug appeared a polished one, and the top
turned over Says, that having sold Silver to Henry
Samuel
< no role > the other Prisoner under Examination, before
this time, Informant and Reyonlds went directly to
Samuels House< no role > in Gravel Lane , and saw him
Informant and Reynolds Lawoods< no role > with Samuel to sell
the said Mug two Shillings and nine Pence an Ounces Informant was going to [..] two Lewis at the bottom of the Mug but [..] said it was not necessary as [..] would see it
Informant and Reynolds were to call at Night for
he Money, but Reynolds being taken ill, they did
next call [..] the next day, Informant by desire of
Reynolds who continued ill went to Samuel, and
received a Geunea for the Mug have that sheard Reynolds meant the Grayhound in Gay Street and Reynolds received the Gounds and have thin has a Guinea tent of Says, that about
Fortnight afterwards, Informantsaidwas told by
Reynolds who sherved him at the same time a bobbin
of silk, that he could get plenty of Silk from his
Master's, if he knew whose to sell it that they
went to Samuel the same day and asked to borrow
a Shilling that they gave Samuel the bobbin of
Silk as a Present, and received a Shilling on the
Credit of the next Silver they were to get for
Samuel Informant on looking at the bobbin of
Silk now produced, believes it to be the same he
and Reynolds took to Samuel as aforesaid
