Whereas Thomas Langley< no role > This name instance is in set 1626. of White Chapel in the County of Middlesex
Carpenter having determined to pull down and rebuild a certain
House belonging to part of his Estate on the East side of Castle Court
in the Parish of Saint John the Baptist London And Whereas
certain Timber Walls and Partitions between the said House and
a certain un inhabited House abutting Southward belonging to
some person unknown being defective and remains the said
Thomas Longley< no role > did accordingly on the Thirteenth day of June
last five and fasten upon the Door of the said uninhabited House
a notice in Writing as follows that is to say To the owner and
Occupier of this House I do hereby give you and each of you notice that I
do intend to pull down a certain House in my possession situate on the East
side of Castle Court in the parish of Saint John the Baptist London with the
Timber Walls and partitions between the said House and this House abutting
Southward and I do hereby give you further notice that I intend to have the said
Timber Wall and partition viewed withn the space of one Month after the date
of this notice by four able workmen according to the Direction of the Act of
parliament in such case made and provided and do on my part appoint
William Cook< no role > of Foxer Lane Wapping in the County of Middlesex Carpenter
and Charles Parnell< no role > of Somerset street London Bricklayor to View the same
on Saturday the sixth day of July next at Ten of the Clock in the forenoon And
I do hereby require you to Names and appoint two other able workmen to meet
the said William Cook< no role > & Charles Parnell< no role > on the Premisses at the time
mentioned and I do hereby further give you Notice that if you refuse or neglect
to appoint within three Weeks from this Notice two able Workmen to view the
said Timber Walls and Partitions with the said Wm Cook< no role > and Charles Parnell< no role >
