At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our
Lord the King holden for the City of London by
adjournment at Justice Hall in the Old Bailey
in the Parish of Saint Sepulchre in the Ward
of Farrington without in London aforesaid
on Tuesday the Ninth day of July in the
Eleventh Year of the reign of our Soverign
Lord George the third King of Great Britain &d
Before Brass Crosby< no role > Esquire Mayor of the
City of London Sir Robert Ladbroke< no role > Knight
one of the Aldermen of the said City James
Eyre
< no role > Esquire Recorder of the said City, Bradsley
Kennett
< no role > Esquire one other of the Aldermen
of the said City and others their Fellows Justices
of our said Lord the King assigned to keeps the
peace of our said Lord the King within the said
City and also to hear and determine desires
felonies trespasses and other misdeed
committed within the said City

These are to Certify that John Davies< no role > of
London Merchant and Subject of this reason and
who inhabits in the City of London made sufficient
proof in open Court before and to the satisfaction
of the above named Justices according to the
directions of the Statute in that behalf by the
Oaths of Joseph Russell< no role > of London Mariner
Master of the Ship or Vessel called the Sarah and
Henry Powell< no role > of London Mariner State of the said
