the 20th. of December last a known Mare the property of his
father Josias Fuller< no role > was stolen out of his Grounds at Lerhan aforesaid
says that yesterday was a Week he saw the said Thomas Styles< no role > in
Maidstone Goal who confessed to this Informant that he had stolen the said
Mare and sold her to the said Thomas Glasscock< no role > who well knew she was stolen
and that the said Thomas Glasscock< no role > and Thomas Glasscock Toynbee
were Confederates, that the said Mare was worth Fifteen Guineas and the said
Thomas Styles< no role > said he had sold her for only five Guineas and this Informant
further says that he does suspect and verily believe that the said Thomas
Glasscock and Thomas Toynbee< no role > This name instance is in set 2665. did feloniously receive the said Mare the
property of this Informant's father knowing her to be stolen; and the said Robert
Elvy for himself says that on or about the 8th. of October 1769 a black
Gelding his property was stolen out of his Grounds, that last Thursday he
saw the said Thomas Styles< no role > in Maidstone Goal who confessed to this Informant
that he and one Moses Mansaring stole this Informant's said Gelding that
he the said Thomas Styles< no role > brought him to London to the said Thomas Glasscock< no role > &
House Toynbee who said they know is Man that wanted such a horse, that
the said Glasscock & Toynbee accordingly took the said horse from the said Styles
and after some time brought him back five pounds which they said was what
they had sold the said horse for, and this Informant further says that he
does suspect and verily believe that the said Thomas Glasscock< no role > & Thomas
Toynbee
< no role > did feloniously receive his said horse knowing him to be stolen
