the above Deft
severally make Oath and say that William sharp< no role >
is a
material Witness for these Deponents on the above prosecution
and without whose Testimony they cannot safely proceed
to Tryal And say that they did in the beginning of last
Week Cause Enquiry to be made after the said William
Sharp at his place of abode to have him here as or
Witness for these Deponents on their Tryal and say that
from such Enquiry by Richard Bowler< no role >
they were informed and which Information
they believe to be true that the said William Sharp< no role >
was
a few days before gone to Coventry
and several other places
in Warwickshire
on business but that they wd. not tell
where in particulars he might be met with and that he
wod. be in Town in about afortnight & not sooner And
these Deponents severally say that in case they had been
able to have the said William here at this Session they
wod. Willingly have taken their Tryals But verily believe
and do not doubt hit they shall be able to have the said
William here at the next Session And will use their utmost
Endeavours for that purposed in case this Honourable Court
will postpone their Tryals [..] ee then
