The Humble Petition and Appeale of the Churchwardens
& Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of St. John Baptist London.

Sheweth

That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant under
the Hands & Seals of two of his Majestys Justices of
the Peace for the said City and London bearing date
the twelfth day of December 1741 [..] One Samuel
Gibbens< no role > & Alice< no role > his Wife were removed from & out
of the Parish of St. Giles without Cripplegate in
London into our Said Parish of St John Baptist in
London as the place of their last Legall Settlement

Yor Petrs: Conceiving themselves agrieved
by the said Order of pass Warrant
Do humbly Appeale against the same
And pray such Relief in the premisses
as this Honrble Court shall think just

And yor Petr as in Duty bound shall pray
