Church-Wardens and Overseers of
the Parish of Saint Dunstan in ye West
in ye City of London respectively.

WHEREAS Complaint hath this Day been made
unto us two of his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for this City, and the Liberties thereof one of he appointed by Act of Parliament (Quorum
unus)
by You the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Saint Bottolphs Bishopsgate
London, That Elizabeth< no role > ye Widdow of Thomas Purton< no role >
and Mary their Child aged three years have
lately Intruded themselves into
your said Parish not having obtained any legal Settlement
there, and Are likely to become Chargeable thereto,
by Reason of their great Poverty
unless timely prevented,
which Complaint we adjudge to be true. And forasmuch
as it appears unto us by the Oath of Cassandra Knight< no role >
That he ye sd. Thomas Purton< no role > did about nine years
ago live & keep a house in ye Parish of Saint Dunstan
in ye West in ye City of London of ye yearly Rent of ten
pound by ye space of one year & upwards & hath
not obtain d. any subsequent Settlement. We the said
Justices are therefore of Opinion, and do adjudge the
last legal Settlement of the said Elizabeth Purton< no role >
and Mary< no role > her daughter to be
in the said Parish of St. Dunstan in ye West
and that thitherto
They ought by Law to be sent.

THESE are therefore in his Majesty's Name to re-
quire You to remove and convey the said Elizabeth Purton< no role >
and Mary her Daughter
from and out of your said Parish of Saint Bottolphs
Bishopsgate London , to the said Parish of
St. Dunstans in the West in the City of London
and them leave with
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or
one of them, who is and are hereby required to receive
and provide for them according to Law. Hereof sail
not, and this shall be your Warrant. Given under our
Hands and Seals the 14th Day of August Anno
Domini 172 Annoq: Regni Regis Georgij 2di
in ye
year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred
thirty three
