Whereas Complaint hath been made unto Us two of
His Majesties Justices of the Peace
for this City and the
Liberties thereof (Quorum unus) by You the
Churchwardens
andOverseers of the Poor of the said
Parish ofPrecinct of
White Fryers
London That A Sarah
the Daughter of
Nathaniel Tallant< no role >
is
lately come to reside in your said
ParishPrecinct not having obtaind any
Legal Settlement there and is likely to become chargeable
thereto unless timely prevented Which Complaint We judge to
be true and forasmuch as it appears unto Us by the Oath of
John Bagg< no role >
That the said Sarah Tallant was
born in the said Parish of St. Mary Le Strand
in the
County of Middle in or about the year of our Lord
one thousand Seven hundred and Twenty Nine
And no other Subsequent Settlement appearing unto Us We the
Said Justices are of opinion and do Adjudge the last Legal
Settlement of the said
Sarah Tallant< no role >
to be in the said Parish of St. Mary Le Strand
in the
County of Middls And that thitherto She ought by Law
to be sent
These are therefore in his Majesties Name to Will and
Require You theChurchwardens andOverseers of the Poor of
the saidParish of
Precinct of White Fryers

forthwith to Remove and Convey the and Sarah
Tallant
from and out of your saidParishPrecinct unto the said Parish of St.
Mary Le Strand
in the County of Middls
And her deliver unto the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor there or one of them Who is and are hereby required
to Receive and Provide for her according to Law Given
under our hands and Seals this Fifth day of March
