To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Allhallows on London Wall and also to
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Sr Andrew Holborn in the County of Middlesex

Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us whose
hands and Seals are hereunto Sett two of his Majties Justices of
the peace for the City of London (Qunr Unus) by the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Allhallows on the Wall LondonThat John Stone< no role > with Elenor< no role >
his wife and their two Children Vizt Ann< no role > aged Five years and William< no role >
aged about two years arelately come into the
Said Parish Endeavouring to Settle there contrary to Law and
unless timely prevented are likely to become chargeable
thereunto which We do adjudge to be true, and forasmuch
as it appeareth unto us the said Justices upon the Oath of
Eleanor Burt< no role > That William Stone< no role > Father of the abovenamed John
Stone rented and dmeltin a house of Two and twenty pounds P
Anns rent in the parish of St Andrew Holborn in the County of
Middlesex and no other legal Settlement
elsewhere appearing unto us Since We do also adjudge the
said parish of St Andrew Holborn to be the place of their last
legal Settlement

These are therefore in his Majesty's came to will & require
you the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the said
Parish of Allhallows on the Wall forthwith to remove and convey
the said John Stone with Eleanor his wife and their two Children
from out of your said parish unto the said parish of St Andrew
Holbornand them deliver unto the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor there Some or one of them who are
hereby required to receive and provide for them according to
Law. Given under our hands and Seals this 6thday of
MarchAnno Dm 1722
