Peace for the Said City & the Libties thereof in
their Generall Quarter Assembled.

The Humble Petition and Appeale
of the Churchwardens & Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of St. Peter
the Poor London

Sheweth,

That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant
under the Hands & Seales of Two of His Majestys Justices
of the Peace for the said City of London & the Liberties
thereof (Quor unus) bearing Date the 15th. Day of
November last past William Measure< no role > & Ann< no role > his
Wife with their Two Children Vizt Martha< no role > aged about
Twelve years & Heredia< no role > aged Ten years were removed
from the Parish of Alhallowes on the Wall London unto
the said Parish of St. Peter the Poor London alledging the
Said Parish of St. Peter the Poor to be the Place of their
last legall Settlement.

That your Petitioners conceiving themselves
agreived by the Said Order or Warrant of the
Said two Justices Doe humbly appeale to
your Lordship and Worps therefrom, And
pray That your Lordship & Worps will
be pleased to hear them cencerning the
Premisses. And that the Churchwardens &
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Alhallows on the Wall London aforesaid
may appear before you & hear & abide
the Judgment & Determinacon of your
Lordship and Worps touching this appeall.
