Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of St. Augustine London
Sheweth,
That by Virtue of an Order or Warrant under the Hands and
Seales of Two of His Majtys Justices of the Peace for the said
City of London & the Libties thereof (Quor unus) bearing date
the fifteenth day of July last
past

old & upwards, were removed from the Parish of St. Botolph
without Aldgate
London unto the Parish of St. Augustine

aforesaid, alledging the Said Parish of St. Augustin to be the
Place of their last legall Settlement.
That your Petitioners Conceiving themselves agreived
by the Said Order or Warrant of the said Two Justices
as aforesaid Do humbly appeale to you Lord Ship and
Worps therefrom And humbly pray that yor. Lordp &
Worps will be pleased to hear them concerning the
Premisses And that the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the Poor of the said Parish of St. Botolph without
Aldgate London may appear before you, & hear and
abide the Judgment & Determination of yor Lordp &
Worps touching this Appeale.
