To the Church wardens & Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of St. Faith under St. Pauls
London, and the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Sepulchre
London respectively.

WHEREAS Complaint hath this Day been made
unto us two of His Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for this City, and the Liberties thereof (Quorum
unus) by You the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of St. Faith under St. Pauls
London, That Anne Harwood< no role > the Wife of Richard
Harwood
< no role > with Bodenham< no role > their Child aged Nine
Weeks or there about are late come into and
new resident in
your said Parish not having obtained any
legal Settlement there, and are likely to become charge-
able thereto by reason of their Poverty
unless timely prevented,
which Complaint we adjudge to be true. And forasmuch
as it appears unto us by the Oath of the said Richard
Harwood that about Twenty years ago he was an
Inhitant & an House Keeper in the Parish of St. Sepulchre &
London where he rented an House at Thirty Pounds &
And Rent and upwards and by any means
whatsoever hath
not obtaind any subsequent Settlement. We the said Ju-
stices are therefore of Opinion, and do adjudge the last
legal Settlement of the said Anne Harwood & Bodenham
her Child to be in the said
Parish of St. Sepulchre London and
that thitherto they ought by Law to be sent.

THESE are therefore in His Majesty's Name to re-
quire You to remove and convey the said Anne Harwood
and Bodenham her said Child
from and out of your said Parish of St. Faith under Saint
Parish London, to the said Parish of St. Sepulchre
London and them leave with the Churchwardens &
Overseers of the Poor there, or one of them, who is and
are hereby required to receve and provide for them
according to Law. Hereof sail not, and this shall be your
Warrant. Given under our Hands and Seals the Eighth
Day of August Anno Domini 1723 .
