of the Parish of St. Katherine Coleman
London, and the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Nicholas
Coleabby London respectively.

WHEREAS Complaint hath this Day been made
unto us two of His Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for this City, and the Liberties thereof (Quorum
unus) by the You the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of St. Katherine Coleman
London, That Sarah< no role > the Widow of Henry Corney< no role > deced with her
three Children Edith< no role > aged abt. eight years Sarah< no role > abt. three years
and Ebiezer< no role > aged abt. one year are lately come & are now
residing in
your said Parish not having obtained any
legal Settlement there, and are likely to become charge-
able thereto by reason of their poverty & incapacity of
Supperting themselves unless timely prevented,
which Complaint we adjudge to be true. And forasmuch
as it appears unto us by the Oath of the said Sarah the Mother
that her said Husband lived by the Space of one whole year &
upwards an hired yearly Servant being then a Singleman with
one Mr Shackley a Tobacco Mercht. in the Parish of St.
Nicholas Coleabby London about twelve years aged & by any
me and what soever hath
not obtaind any Subsequent Settlement. We the said Ju-
stices are therefore of Opinion, and do adjudge the last
legal Settlement of the said Sarah Corney and her said three
Children Edith Sarah & Ebieser to be in the said
Parish of St. Nicholas Coleabby London and
that thitherto they ought by Law to be sent.

THESE are therefor in his Majesty's Name to re-
quire You to remove and convey the said Sarah Corney & her
said three Children Edith Sarah & Ebiezer
from and out of your said Parish of St. Kathine Coleman
London, to the said Parish of St. Nicholas Coleabby
London and them leave with the Churchwardens
Overseers of the Poor there, or one of them, who is and
are hereby required to receive and provide for them
according to Law. Hereof sail not, and this Shall be your
Warrant Given under our Hands and Seals the eighteenth
Day of June Anno Domini 1723 .
