The Information of Catherine Burry< no role > of the Minories in the Parish of
Aldgate in the said County Spinster Taken Before me this 18th day of February
1789 who upon her Oath saith that on the 26th day of December last she employed
the Prisoner present who says his Name is John Harris< no role > to carry a Trunk from
well Close Square to No. 79 Lower East Smithfield )that she stopedwhich Contained
Two Cotton Gowns three Aprons two Petycoats one Pair of Stays one Silver
Handkerchief Pin and Sunday other things of the value of Forty Shilling
Says she stoped to Speak to Mr. Ager when said John Harris< no role > ran off and that
she has not seen him since that time until this day.

John Harris< no role > says he was employed by Catherine Burry< no role > to Carry said
Trunk withthethe Contents with a little String tied it from Well Close Square to Lower
East Smithfield that he Expected said Mrs. Burry to go along with him but that
she stoped in the House in well Close Square and desired him to go to Mrs. Smith
No. 79 Lower East Smithfield and she would follow him that he told her to come
a long with him if she did not he would sell them that he Accordingly went to
Rosemary Lane and sold them for fourteen shillings and Spent the Money that
he never went back to Mrs. Burry nor has he seen her from that day to this
