The Information of Duncan Grant< no role > of No.16
in the Almonry Westminster Labourer and
Christopher Cridland< no role > of Kemps Court Berwick
Street Soho Shoemaker taken before me
this 26th. day of December 1788

Who being upon Oath say, and first the said Duncan
GreatGrant saith that on Monday evening the 22nd. day
of December instant he this Informant between the
hours of five and Six o'Clock apprehended a person
now present who calls himself William Butcher< no role > in
Company with another person also now present who calls himself
William Cousins< no role > , who were walking together near
the Kings Arms on the Acton Road That he Searched
the person of the said William Butcher< no role > and found upon him the Cutlas now produced
concealed under his Coat and immediately Secured
him And the said Christopher Cridland< no role > for himself saith
that he was in Company with the said Duncan Grant< no role >
at this time and apprehended the said William Cousins< no role >
on which he found the Pistol now produced loaded with
Gun powder and a Stone which Pistol the said Cousins
had concealed between his Apron & his Waistcoat at
