of Angel Gardens in the Parish of Saint Shadwell Labourer
and William Numphries< no role > of No 1o0 Ratecliff Highway Saint George
Middlesex aforesaid Broker Taken before me One of her Majesty
Justices of the Peace in and for the said County

Who being on their Oaths Severally say and First the said John Windsfel< no role > for
himself Saith that between Nine and ten O' Clock this Morning he saw the
Person Present Who says his name is Anthony Elston go into the Shop of
Informant Humphries and lake something out of his Shop Which from
its Shining at a distance he Supposed to he a Fender That as soon as
the said Anthony Elston< no role > came out of said Shop he acquainted Mr Hamphree
1 here with Who immediately came out and followed him The Said James

< no role > For Himself that between nine and ten O Clock this Morning he was at the
door of his House in Angel Gardens When Informant Hamphries [..]
asked him if he had seen any man come by with a saw When he told him he
had not. Saith that he went with said Humphries to the Top of Angel Gardens
aforesaid When he saw the Person Present Who Calls himself Anthony Elston< no role >
having the saw Produced under her aim Which he Immediatly threw down
and ran away where upon he Picked up said Saw and Pursued and Apprehended
said Anthony Elston Immediatly Where upon Informant Humphries came up
And the did Williams Humphries< no role > for himself saith that at the time above
Mentioned Informant Winds heffel came to his House and told him that he Saw
as Man go in to his Shop and take something out Which he Through was a
Frances that he Immediatly Came out of his Shop went up the Highway When
he Was Informant by [..] said Wind sheffel Person was gone up [..]
Angel Gardens with a Saw When upon Informant went up Angel Gardens
and asked him if he had seen any Person Come up said Gardens who told him
he had not That they Informant Davis and This Informant both went to
the upper End of Angel Gardens When Informant Davis Called out to his
Informant and sayed here he is Bore he is that the Prisoner now present Who
Calls himself Anthony Elston dropt the Saw now Produced Which he Sworn his
Properly and is of the Value of Two Shilling and Six Pence ran away was
Pushed and apprehended by Informant Davis
