Street Covent Garden Linnen Draper Peter Woolley< no role >
of Old First Street Linen Draper, John Atkins< no role >
of Saint Giles in the Fields Constable taken on
Oath before me this 8th day of October 1789

Who being Oath severally say and first the said
George Jeremy< no role > for himself says that the Prisoner now present who
Calls himself John Tucker< no role > has been his servant about Six Moths
that on Saturday Evening last he Missed Eight Pieces of Cambrick
and having reason to Suspected the said John Tucker< no role > , Informant
searched his box and foud therein the ten Yards of Checked Muslin
now produced the property of this Informant and his Partner
Henry Small< no role > that not finding said Eight pieces of Cambrick
Informant was induced to belive that said John Tucker< no role >
had taken the same to his Fathers Apartment in James
Street in the Haymarket whither Informant went on Sunday Morning last accompanied
lay the said Peter Woolley< no role > and found there all the other person now
Present who calls herself Mary Tucker< no role > This name instance is in set 3986. upon being asked
by Informant for the Eight pieces of Cambrick and all the
other goods She replied how many do you want, Informant
told her all the goods she had she them desired Informant
to walk down Stairs and she would fetch them that he
went down Stairs and she brought Eleven Pieces of Irish
and some Muslin Handkerchiefs, Informant asked said
Mary Tucker< no role > This name instance is in set 3986. if that was all when she Replied it was
Informant then requested she would fetch the Eight pieces
of Cambrick Which she according did, Informant having
reason to belive she had more goods in her possession
he requested to go up stairs in ordered to search for them
she Still persisting that she had no more goods of this
